Description

The BIOBASE BSC-1500IIIX-H Class III Biological Safety Cabinet is a fully enclosed, gas-tight laboratory containment cabinet designed for handling materials requiring a high level of personnel, product, and environmental protection. The cabinet maintains a negative-pressure work chamber and allows operators to manipulate materials through integrated long-cuff butyl rubber gloves without direct exposure to the internal workspace.

The cabinet features a 7-inch color touchscreen, power-off memory, real-time operating data, visual and audible alarms, and password-controlled management functions. Its working area is constructed from integrated 304 stainless steel with rounded internal corners for easier cleaning and decontamination.

A side-mounted transfer pass box uses an independent negative-pressure cycle structure and an interlocking door system to help prevent both doors from being opened simultaneously. Multiple ULPA filtration stages serve the operating area, cabinet exhaust, top exhaust, and pass-box air supply. The cabinet also includes ultraviolet decontamination lamps, LED work lighting, a washable pre-filter, and a 12 mm tempered-glass viewing window with anti-ultraviolet protection.

According to the manufacturer’s specification sheet, the BSC-1500IIIX-H measures 1920 × 950 × 2180 mm externally, provides a 1170 × 640 × 600 mm internal working area, and has an approximate packed gross weight of 480 kg / 1,058 lb.
