Product Description

The BIOBASE AC Series Class II Type B2 Biological Safety Cabinet is a total-exhaust containment workstation designed for laboratory procedures requiring personnel, product and environmental protection. Its airflow system provides 0% air recirculation and 100% external exhaust, making it suitable for applications where contaminated air must be discharged through a properly engineered facility exhaust system.

Each cabinet features dual ULPA filtration, a motorized laminated-glass front window, microprocessor controls, real-time LCD monitoring, audible and visual safety alarms, stainless-steel work surfaces and an integrated UV decontamination system. The cabinet is supplied with an exhaust blower and duct connection components for site installation. Manufacturer specifications are shown on page 1 of the supplied technical sheet.

The UV system includes an operating timer, lamp-life indicator and approximately 253.7-nanometer UV output. Interlocking controls help prevent unsafe simultaneous operation of the UV lamp, blower and front window.

Safety and Monitoring Features

The microprocessor system continuously monitors inflow velocity, downflow velocity, filter condition, exhaust-filter pressure, UV operating time, cabinet humidity and system operating time. Audible and visual warnings are provided for abnormal airflow, unsafe front-window height, filter replacement, excessive filter pressure and abnormal power interruption.

Additional features include automatic airflow-speed adjustment, power-failure memory, appointment-timing controls, front-window anti-pinch logic, remote control, foot-operated window adjustment and a removable work area designed to support cleaning and maintenance.

Standard Accessories Included
