The BIOBASE BKC-TH16 Series Tabletop High-Speed Refrigerated Centrifuge combines high-speed sample separation, active refrigeration, programmable operation and a configurable rotor platform in a compact benchtop system.
Both models reach a maximum speed of 16,500 rpm and a maximum relative centrifugal force of 23,072 × g. The refrigerated chamber provides an adjustable operating range from -20°C to +40°C, supporting temperature-sensitive laboratory workflows before, during and between centrifugation cycles.
The BKC-TH16RC-I is designed for broader tube-format flexibility and supports selected containers ranging from microtubes up to 100 mL, depending on the installed rotor and adapter. The BKC-TH16RB is optimized for smaller-volume workflows using tube formats up to 10 mL. The manufacturer’s datasheet lists multiple angle and swing-out rotor configurations for both variants.
