Description
BIOBASE BDF-86V Series -86°C Ultra-Low Temperature Inverter Freezer
The BIOBASE BDF-86V Series -86°C Ultra-Low Temperature Inverter Freezer is engineered for the long-term preservation of highly temperature-sensitive biological and laboratory materials requiring stable ultra-low-temperature storage. Available in 418 L and 608 L capacities, the series combines precision electronic temperature management, redundant refrigeration architecture, intelligent monitoring, and secure sample-storage features for demanding laboratory, clinical, pharmaceutical, biobanking, research, and life-science environments.
Designed for operation between -40°C and -86°C, the BDF-86V Series uses an electronic temperature-control system with a PT100 temperature sensor and temperature display accuracy of 0.1°C. The freezer incorporates a 10.1-inch full-touch Android display, providing an intuitive interface for temperature monitoring and system-status management.
Dual Independent Cooling Architecture
The BDF-86V Series incorporates dual independent refrigeration systems designed to support uninterrupted freezer operation. If one refrigeration system experiences a fault, the second system can continue operating, providing an additional layer of protection for temperature-sensitive inventory. The system is designed to maintain stable ultra-low temperatures below -80°C under appropriate operating conditions.
Direct-cooling refrigeration and inverter-compressor technology support efficient temperature management, while a five-layer door-sealing configuration is designed to promote uniform internal temperature distribution and improved energy efficiency.
Intelligent Monitoring & Sample Management
Integrated smart connectivity allows authorized users to monitor freezer status through a computer-based platform. The system also includes a sample-library management capability designed to organize information such as:
-
Sample inventory
-
Inbound sample status
-
Outbound sample status
-
Sample quantity
-
Sample type
This functionality helps laboratories maintain greater visibility and organization across critical stored materials.
10.1-Inch Smart Android Touchscreen
The integrated touchscreen provides centralized access to freezer operating information and control functions. The user interface is designed to support rapid review of freezer conditions while maintaining precise temperature-control visibility.
Comprehensive Alarm Protection
The freezer incorporates an extensive alarm architecture designed to alert operators to abnormal system or environmental conditions. Supported alarm functions include:
-
High-temperature alarm
-
Low-temperature alarm
-
Power-failure alarm with extended monitoring capability
-
Controller-failure alarm
-
Door-ajar alarm
