Frequently Bought Together:

Description

The TH-SSC-RX-304-230 is a high-capacity controlled-environment cabinet designed to maintain stored instruments within specified temperature, humidity and positive-pressure conditions. Its 304 stainless-steel interior, five adjustable shelves and high-rate HEPA-filtered air circulation support organized storage in hospitals, sterile processing departments, pharmacies, laboratories and other controlled healthcare environments.

An integrated retransmit system permits a portion of cabinet airflow and moisture to be routed back to the hospital’s main environmental system through compatible ceiling duct connections. The retransmit kit is intended for straightforward, plug-and-play installation, subject to facility engineering approval and final duct-interface verification. The stated configuration and dimensions are derived from the supplied parameter schedule.

Retransmit Function

The cabinet is configured to retransmit a controlled portion of moisture and airflow to the hospital’s main environmental or ventilation system.

The retransmit package is intended to include:

  • Cabinet-side airflow connection
  • Ceiling-duct interface capability
  • Compatible duct transition or connection hardware
  • Plug-and-play controls
  • Accessible service connections
  • Installation and operating instructions
  • Coordination provisions for facility engineering personnel

Final duct size, airflow balance, backflow prevention, condensation control and building-management-system compatibility must be confirmed through approved shop drawings before installation.

UV-C Safety and Use Statement

The UV-C system is intended as a supplemental surface-disinfection feature within the enclosed cabinet. It is not represented as a substitute for validated sterilization, reprocessing or infection-control procedures.

The cabinet must incorporate:

  • A separate UV-C control switch
  • A programmable operating cycle
  • A visible operating-status indicator
  • An interlock that disables UV-C exposure when the cabinet is opened
  • Warning labels and operating instructions
  • Lamp replacement and preventive-maintenance guidance

UV-C lamp quantity, wattage, placement and cycle duration are to be finalized by the manufacturer based on chamber geometry, irradiance mapping and the required disinfection objective.

Standard Configuration

Each cabinet is proposed to include:

  1. Controlled-environment cabinet assembly
  2. Five adjustable shelves
  3. HEPA filtration system
  4. Temperature, humidity and pressure controls
  5. Integral steam humidifier and refillable reservoir
  6. Interior LED lighting
  7. UV-C lamp assembly with independent controls
  8. UV-C personnel-safety interlock
  9. Programmable timer
  10. Operating-status indicator
  11. Locking front casters and mobility handles
  12. Ten-foot hospital-grade power cord
  13. Ceiling-duct retransmit kit
  14. Operating and maintenance documentation
