ROOSIN Paraffin Gauze Dressing is a paraffin-impregnated wound contact dressing designed to create a moist wound-healing environment while helping protect fragile tissue during dressing changes. Its open-weave gauze construction allows wound exudate to pass through to an appropriate secondary absorbent dressing while providing a protective interface between the wound surface and outer dressing layers.
Designed for professional wound-management environments, the dressing may be used as a primary wound-contact layer for appropriately selected superficial wounds, minor burns, skin-loss injuries, donor or recipient graft sites, and certain ulcerative wounds as directed by a qualified healthcare professional.
